Residency Core Questions

Complete the Residency Core Questions.  Submit the completed questionaire to the Registrar, Lawrence Hall Suite 213.

Documentation may be required in order to make a residency determination. Documentation requested by the Registrar may include any of these found here:

Residency Affidavit

Since the Residency Affidavit must be notarized, it is only available in PDF format.

  • Download and print the Residency Affidavit (58K PDF).
  • Complete the form and have it notarized; mail it to the address listed on the form.

The Residency Affidavit was formerly known as the HB1403 affidavit. (This form is NOT to be completed by U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents.)

Request for Reclassification

If you beleive that you have established residency in Texas and wish to be reclassified as a resident, complete the Request for Reclassification and deliver it to the Registrar, Lawrence Hall, Suite 213.  You may also mail it and all supporting documentation to the address above.
