Graduation and Commencement - Spring 2021 - Alpine Campus



We are excited to be able to watch our students cross the stage and graduate in a more traditional setting for Commencement Spring 2021



COVID-19 protocols will be observed including masking, social distancing, and limiting guests. Temperature checks may be administered.



Friday, May 7, 2021 at the Pete P. Gallego Center in Alpine, TX.

The ceremony begins at 5:00 p.m.

In order to help with social distancing, each graduate will be allowed up to 10 tickets to the event.

There is no charge. However, each person entering the facility, infants included, will be counted as a guest.

Tickets will be available for pick up in the President’s Office starting Wednesday, April 28 through Thursday, May 6, work days only. Hours for tickets will be from 10:00-4:00.

Day of Commencement (May 7) pick up will be at the Gallego Center ticket office starting at 3:00.

Replacement tickets will NOT be given.

There will only be allowed seating in every other row. We ask that each party show up together and sit together.

If there is space in the same rows for additional parties, we ask that everyone be respectful of each other’s space and leave one seat between different parties in the same row.



Order your cap, gown, and tassel online from the Sul Ross Bookstore:

Choose the appropriate gown, either bachelor’s or a master’s as they are different.

Specify your height. Gowns are “one size fits most” and if you need a plus size, indicate that in the comment box.
