President's Club

Welcome to the President's Club webpage!

The President's Club, formerly the President's Support Group, is a group of individuals representing themselves and/or businesses who have an interest in the activities and services which are part of the mission of Sul Ross.  Membership is by invitation and includes a $1,000 per year membeship due paid to the University's Presidents's Support Group Endowment.  The group meets quarterly with the President and Executive Staff at the University for updates and briefings on university activities and programs and to share information with the community.  In addition, group members and spouses/guests are invited to attend university activities including, but not limited to, lectures, concerts, Board of Regents meeting special events, dedications, ground breaking ceremonies, and a variety of other events.

Members of the club also serve as ambassadors on behalf of the institution.  They are well informed about ongoing activities, interactions between the university and its governing board and legislature, strategic planning, and development activities. The group provides advice and reaction directly to the President and the Executive Staff on a variety of issues and concerns which better enables the university to serve the community and the region in meeting the needs of its many constituencies.

Each club member is a valuable partner to the university and the community. Members are encouraged and welcome to meet with the President to discuss community and university relations.
